Only Curls London is a hair formula that I fell in love with after the first use and I have been using it daily ever since. I received the package within a week and a half which was not bad due to the fact that I live in California and this product is produced and shipped from London UK. They ship internationally and their products are very affordable, perfect for those who are just starting their hair journey (like myself) and does not want to spend much on pricey organic products. Only Curls is made with NO SULFATES, SILICONES, PARABENS, MINERAL OIL, OR PARAFFIN. THEY ALSO DO NOT TEST ON ANIMALS. The ingredients consist of KUKUI OIL, AVOCADO OIL, AND ALOE LEAF JUICE to really enhance and moisturize your curls. I love both the styling creme and gel, it leaves my curls at a perfect texture even in between washes my hair remains soft and frizz free. I feel a significant change in the softness of my hair ever since I started to use this product I am soooo happy to have discovered it. I tried it on my mom who has kinky curly hair way curlier than mine and she loved it as well. She loved how it prevented that annoying frizz that many products claim tame but don't. They offer two styling products which retail for $25 each USD they also have other curly hair accessories that are to die for! I believe every order that is over a certain amount gets the free tote bag that say's "DO NOT TOUCH MY CURLS" I freaken love how they also have pins with the same saying. Starting this curl journey has been quite fun and I already am starting to see the change in my curls. I always wore my hear "natural" however I would buy whatever type of shampoo/conditioner I liked at Target followed by some hair mousse which I have now come to realize is far from taking care of my curls. Using products that have healthy ingredients targeted for curly hair really is essential for a better curl appearance. JessiCurl is a company founded by Jess McGuinty who created styling products for curly hair, she was tired of not embracing her own curls and felt that there must be others struggling with the same predicament which is not being able to find the right styling product for a unique set of hair type. What I personally love about JessiCurl is that she does not only offer individual products she also provides 3 different collections for 3 different types of hair.
She sent me the Rich and Radiant Collection and I have been loving the results when used so far. My curls feel very soft and bouncy the products have different scent options. So far I have only done wash and go's using the products. I am excited to use the other oil treatments and deep conditioning to see how those products work with my curls. The cleansing shampoo does not lather much, however it does leave your hair and scalp feeling clean. The conditioner definitely softens and moisturizes the hair. In the instructions in said to apply the Rockin' Ringlets potion on to soaking wet hair and to later absorb any water with a microfiber towel (I've seen many curly hair girls use T-shirts or caps as well). After apply the styling products and proceed to either air dry or diffuse your curls. I really enjoyed her break down of every product and she is very clear about what is in it, what it's for and how exactly to apply it.
Her products are vegan and cruelty free products. The 3 collections she offers are the Confidence Collection, Rich & Radiant Collection and the Light and Luminous Collection. Knowing your curl type is very important in the start of your curl journey because it helps you aim for products design for your particular curl type. Some have tighter coils, others may have loose waves and curls etc. Training your curls is also a technique that can help you achieve the tight coil look giving your hair that healthy and nourished look.
