Random rant! It gets under my skin when I see girls with a huge following claiming to be confident and loving themselves when they have to purchase all these products to make them feel confident. Real confidence comes from within and it will radiate no matter how you look physically. Plastic surgery is a very touchy subject but since you are on my blog…I am just going to be real on my opinion about it. I am all for plastic surgery when it is needed for medical purposes such as burn victims, breast cancer patients etc. and I am even for those women who decide to get plastic surgery to fix an insecurity but they are honest about it and they do not make other women feel inferior. Society’s beauty standards change with each trend, for example girls who were once shamed for being thick are now praised for it. Girls are growing up thinking that they need big lips and a face full of makeup to be attractive. We are in a generation where girls can use social media to stunt and flash materialistic possessions to uphold a fake life. FAKE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT, people are so quick to give up all their power and idealize someone else’s life. Instead of making insignificant people famous put that energy into bettering yourself. Educating yourself on what is going on around you in the real world not in the world of an Instagram Model. I have heard many girls promote plastic surgery because they get attention from men and get doors opened for them etc. hearing that really breaks my soul. I wish everyone had a self esteem so high they were humble, a nice figure and pretty face will get a man’s attention but attention is temporary gaining a man’s respect should be more important. Women are so much more than their appearance, they have intelligence and their aura alone will attract her hearts desires. I support whatever makes women feel confident as a feminist I feel that we are divine in our own enchanting ways and we all have something to bring to this world. It just irks me when I see how they profit off making my fellow sisters insecure and not comfortable in their own natural beauty. I would much rather someone fall for my soul, for my mindset and for my passion instead of falling for something as shallow as physical appearance. If you have been scrolling through the gram wishing you looked a certain way, or had a certain lifestyle let me just remind you that it is all an illusion. All you have control over is the here and now. Manifest happiness is for your soul. Don’t ever feel like you can’t do something because you do not look a certain way. Looks do not guarantee success don’t let these scammer fool ya love bugs !
